Dr. Tammy Moffett

 I am the owner of The Dental Place, a role I have proudly held since 2008 and where I have the privilege of working with an amazing team! I graduated from Dalhousie Dentistry in 2002 and have always strived for clinical excellence. I believe in the importance of building meaningful relationships with my patients rather than treating them as mere cases.

I am passionate about continuing education and have invested significantly in high-quality programs. In 2017, I graduated from the Kois Center, in Seattle Washington. I learned advanced adhesion/biomimetic dentistry with through the BAARD residency program in 2024.

Currently, I am working towards my AACD accreditation and over the years I have also taken numerous cosmetic courses through imPRES, Art of Resin (AOR) and Cosmedent CEE. I even traveled to London, England last year to learn advanced rubber dam techniques with the great Dr. Celine Higton! One could say I am a CE junkie haha! but I firmly believe that ongoing learning is key to providing exceptional care.

I live in KV with my husband and our three teenage kiddos, along with our dog, Goose, and cat, Ginger. I enjoy going to the gym, using my Peloton, walking, and reading. I have a strong interest in overall health, nutrition, and wellbeing, which I believe enhances both my personal and professional life.
